 Ready for tip-off? The North Shore YMCA Broadway Center is launching its annual Junior Knicks program, a competitive Basketball league with a strong instructional base for boys and girls age 7 to 18. Sponsored by the New York Knicks and presented by Sprite and Footlocker, the program focuses on building sportsmanship and self-esteem as well as fundamental Basketball training. Registrations are being accepted for the upcoming 10-game season through Jan. 25. The cost? Just $25.00, which includes a team T-shirt. The real added bonus is the clinic for 7-11-year-olds on the final day of registration, which runs from 4 to 6 p.m. It will be facilitated exclusively by Knicks staff.
