
DALLAS (AP) - New York Knicks center Eddy Curry played in his first game of the season Thursday night against the Dallas Mavericks.
Curry missed the first 33 with a right knee injury. He entered with 2:42 left in the first, and scored his first basket on a wide-open layup just over a minute later.The 6-foot-11 Curry, who has not played since New York's last preseason game, is in his fourth season with the Knicks. He averaged 13.2 points and 4.7 rebounds last season.
