--Perhaps the NBA has also joined in on the 2010 anticipation with the Knicks. The league has included the team in its annual exhibition schedule overseas for next season, with stops in Milan, Italy and Paris, according to several reports in New York. Danilo Gallinari was born in Milan and played professionally for Armani Jeans Milano, whom the Knicks might face in an exhibition game there. Mike D'Antoni also starred for Milan for 13 seasons and coached eight years in Italy. It will be the first time the Knicks have played overseas in 20 years, since the 1990 McDonald's Open in Barcelona.
--Next to Al Harrington's locker at the Knicks' practice facility are the standings in the Eastern Conference. The reality of the team's awful start was impossible to ignore, but lately, as the team has started winning games, Harrington has noticed there isn't much of a gap between his team and the eighth seed. So many of the teams in the East have struggled to start the season, the Knicks aren't quite out of anything yet.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "I think we're starting to get a great momentum, and if we can keep it going, we've got a chance. We've got some winnable games coming up." -- Al Harrington on the streaking Knicks.
