--Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni believes 40 wins will bring a postseason berth. He put that number out there after his team came back from the All-Star break with a new attitude. It's seemingly a far-off goal after three straight losses, though. In order to get 40 wins, the Knicks need to finish on a 16-7 tear.
--While the Knicks do seem to play with more energy this season, they are once again struggling in the second game of back-to-back sets. After the loss in Miami on Saturday, they are 1-4 in the finales of the last five sets of back-to-back games.
