 --It was Latino Night at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday and many fans were forced to do a double take. Something about the Knicks' uniforms was different. The familiar orange block letters across the chest spelled out "Nueva York" for the occasion. Seven other teams will participate in similar nights this month. --He's not likely to show up in the rotation, but the Knicks brought in 7-foot-1 C Cheikh Samb on a 10-day contract on Tuesday just to have a healthy big man for practice. Samb was a second-round draft pick in 2006 who's already made four stops this season. He started with Detroit and was traded to Denver and the Los Angeles Clippers.
