--Isiah Thomas made numerous mistakes as Knicks general manager, but a big one was taking Channing Frye over Andrew Bynum with the eighth pick in the 2005 draft. The day after the draft, Thomas reportedly called the Lakers, trying to acquire Bynum in trade. Now Bynum is a rising star on the Western Conference champions, and Frye is in Portland, due to his poor rebounding as a Knick.
