ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chris Duhon, Shooting guard Jamal Crawford, Small forward Quentin Richardson, Power forward Wilson Chandler, Center Zach Randolph. Bench -- Forward David Lee, Guard Nate Robinson, Forward Malik Rose, Guard Anthony Roberson, Guard Mardy Collins.
PLAYER NOTES: --F Wilson Chandler looked more comfortable and broke out of a slump on Wednesday in Memphis, going 11 for 12 from the field and finishing with a career-best 27 points. The one shot he missed was a dunk.
"He's been battling flu-like symptoms for a while," coach Mike D'Antoni said. "It all came together and hopefully he can keep it at a high level because he's important to us."
--G Jamal Crawford converted his second four-point play of the season, giving him 10 for his Knicks' career. He completed the rare play three times in 2004-05. Crawford only needs one more four-point play to have sole ownership of the franchise record he currently shares with John Starks.
--G Nate Robinson was almost perfect on Wednesday against the Grizzlies. He was 8-for-8 from the field and 5-for-5 from long range. Robinson had 21 points and five assists in the blowout win.
"This is fun," he said. "I was mad at myself for not shooting well in San Antonio."
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F Jared Jeffries (fractured left fibula) is using a hyperbaric chamber in hopes of speeding the heeling process, but he's expected to be out until December.
--C Eddy Curry (bruised knee) needed a cortisone shot recently to relieve the pain. He is dressing in case of emergency, but is not ready to resume practicing.
--F Danilo Gallinari (back) went to have a bulging disk re-evaluated. He is still dealing with pain after getting run over in summer league by Robert Traylor. There is a possibility Gallinari will need season-ending surgery.
--F David Lee (sore left ankle) was on the court Tuesday after missing practice on Thursday. He says a small bone spur has been a source of pain for the last three weeks.
