New York Knicks Roster Report 2008-11-15
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chris Duhon, Shooting guard Jamal Crawford, Small forward Quentin Richardson, Power forward Wilson Chandler, Center Zach Randolph. Bench -- Forward David Lee, Guard Nate Robinson, Forward Malik Rose.

PLAYER NOTES:

--F Zach Randolph continues to build trade value, and will undoubtedly show up in any number of rumors. He rang up 29 points and 19 rebounds on Friday against Oklahoma City, and has finished with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds five times already this season.

"He's a stat-gatherer," Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said. "It's unbelievable. He just knows how to play the game. He's got great instinct, great feel. Long arms help, too."

--F Danilo Gallinari was examined by two back specialists this week, received another cortisone injection, and will be out indefinitely.

"Danilo was examined by two specialists (Thursday)," read a statement issued by the Knicks. "Both were in agreement that Danilo should receive another cortisone shot. He will now have an extended period of rest, and over the next few weeks, will receive additional opinions on his long-term management options. Surgery was not ruled out."

--G Nate Robinson was on quite a roll. He was 8-for-8 from the field on Wednesday in Memphis, and then connected on five in a row to start on Friday against Oklahoma City. Robinson went 1-for-8 the rest of the way, finishing with 15 points and five assists.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--F Jared Jeffries (fractured left fibula) is using a hyperbaric chamber in hopes of speeding the heeling process, but hes expected to be out until December.

--C Eddy Curry (bruised knee) needed a cortisone shot recently to relieve the pain. He is dressing in case of emergency, but is not ready to resume practicing.

--F Danilo Gallinari (back) was instructed by two back specialists to get a second cortisone shot and rest for several weeks before the situation is re-evaluated. There is a possibility the rookie will need season-ending surgery.
