ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chris Duhon, Shooting guard Quentin Richardson, Small forward Wilson Chandler, Power forward Al Harrington, Center David Lee. Bench -- Forward Tim Thomas, Forward Malik Rose, Guard Anthony Roberson.
PLAYER NOTES: --F David Lee set career highs with 37 points and 21 rebounds on Saturday against Golden State. He became the first Knicks player to get 30 and 20 since Patrick Ewing finished with 36 points and 21 rebounds against Philadelphia on Jan. 23, 1994.
--F Jared Jeffries returned to practice on Friday after missing nearly eight weeks with a fractured left fibula. He's been working on the side but is now allowed to absorb contact. He reported some discomfort when jumping, which is to be expected. Jeffries could be ready in a week.
--G Cuttino Mobley is expected to undergo more tests during the week to determine whether he's dealing with a heart condition that could prevent him from joining the Knicks. It's unclear what happens if the medical staff does not sign off. Mobley was apparently playing with the same condition in past seasons with the Clippers.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--F Jared Jeffries (fractured left fibula) was cleared this week to begin practicing. He may be a week away from returning.
--C Eddy Curry (bruised knee) needed a cortisone shot recently to relieve the pain. He is not ready to resume practicing.
--F Danilo Gallinari (back) was instructed by two back specialists to get a second cortisone shot and rest for several weeks before the situation is re-evaluated. There is a possibility the rookie will need season-ending surgery.
--G Nate Robinson (strained groin) is day-to-day after landing awkwardly following a layup against Cleveland on Tuesday. He was not ready on Saturday, but he expects to return this week.
