New York Knicks Roster Report 2008-12-29
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chris Duhon, Shooting guard Wilson Chandler, Small forward Tim Thomas, Power forward Jared Jeffries, Center David Lee. Bench -- Forward Al Harrington, Guard Nate Robinson, Forward Quentin Richardson.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Nate Robinson has scored at least 20 points in each of his last six games. He is averaging 25 points a game over that span, but hasn't been very efficient. He is 40 for 111 from the field in those six games, including 15 for 43 from behind the arc.

--F Al Harrington appears to be stuck in a slump. He is shooting 34.1 percent over the last five games. Harrington leads the Knicks with 20.1 points a game, but has scored more than 16 points only once in those five games. He came off the bench on Sunday.

--F Quentin Richardson was back in the rotation against Denver after missing a game with a sprained ankle. He came off the bench for the first time in 27 games this season, finishing with three points and two rebounds in 14 minutes.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--C Eddy Curry (sore knee) is still rehabbing a knee injury, but has begun to pick up the intensity of his workouts in hopes of returning to practice in the next week or two.

--F Danilo Gallinari (back) was instructed by two back specialists to get a second cortisone shot and rest for several weeks before the situation is re-evaluated. He is aiming for a mid-January return.
