New York Knicks Roster Report 2009-11-02

New York Knicks Roster Report 2009-11-02ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chris Duhon, Shooting guard Wilson Chandler, Small forward Danilo Gallinari, Power forward Jared Jeffries, Center David Lee. Bench -- Forward Al Harrington, Guard Larry Hughes, Guard Nate Robinson, Center Darko Milicic.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Larry Hughes was left out of the rotation for the first two games of the season, but the veteran was called upon against the 76ers and played well in 38:59. The veteran scored 18 points and had five rebounds and six assists and likely earned himself a regular spot.

--F David Lee once again struggled with early foul trouble and was limited to just 23:38 of playing time and finished with nine points and five rebounds.

--F Jared Jeffries is not a very popular player at the Garden, mainly because of his contract, which has a $6.8 million hit against the cap in 2010. Fans booed him during introductions and groaned before he even attempted a shot. Jeffries finished 0-for-3 in 16:15 and seemed clearly affected by the negative reception.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Nate Robinson suffered a sprained right ankle in the fourth quarter and did not return to the game. He left the Garden on crutches, but there was no further report by the team.
