New York Knicks Roster Report 2009-11-25

New York Knicks Roster Report 2009-11-25ROTATION: Starters -- PG Chris Duhon, SG Larry Hughes, SF Danilo Gallinari, PF Wilson Chandler, C David Lee. Bench -- F Al Harrington, F Jared Jeffries, C Eddy Curry, G Nate Robinson, G Toney Douglas, F Jordan Hill.

--F Wilson Chandler, despite leading the team with 15 points, shot an awful 5-for-20 in the game and missed 5 of his 6 three-point attempts. Chandler is shooting 39.5 percent from the field this season and 21.7 percent from downtown. Despite a solid 89.3 percent from the line, he's attempted only 28 free throws in 14 games, which suggests he's been relying too much on jump shots and has not driven the ball to the basket nearly enough.

--G Toney Douglas entered the game during garbage time and helped turn a blowout into a close enough game to motivate Lakers coach Phil Jackson to send Kobe Bryant back onto the court. Douglas, who played 16:50 and had 12 points, then got his first taste of guarding one of the best players in the league. "He's tough," Douglas said.

--F Jordan Hill also came in at around the same time and put in an energetic effort. He finished with the best plus-minus on the team (plus-12) and had seven points, three rebounds and a blocked shot.

--F David Lee had 13 points and seven rebounds but played just 3:45 in the second half, mainly because the Knicks had fallen behind by 25 points. When the team mounted the late comeback, D'Antoni opted to keep those players on the floor.

--C Eddy Curry tweaked his left knee in the first half and did not play in the second half. The team will wait to see how he feels Wednesday before his status is determined for Wednesday night's game in Sacramento against the Kings.
