New York Knicks Roster Report 2009-01-30

New York Knicks Roster Report 2009-01-30
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chris Duhon, Shooting guard Quentin Richardson, Small forward Al Harrington, Power forward Jared Jeffries, Center David Lee. Bench -- Forward Wilson Chandler, Guard Nate Robinson, Forward Tim Thomas, Forward Danilo Gallinari.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Stephon Marbury told ESPN he's got more than one team interested in his services.

"I've spoken to Boston, to Miami, (Dallas owner) Mark Cuban," he said during a SportsCenter interview. "All those talks I'm having (are) irrelevant because I can't get out of my deal."

--C Eddy Curry was in Chicago to reunite with his three-year-old son, who on Saturday witnessed the murder of his mother and sister. Nova Henry was Curry's ex-girlfriend. Team officials are letting Curry stay in Chicago as long as necessary.

"I told him we all were praying for him, that it's a very difficult thing to go through and that the franchise supports him and will help him in any way we can," team president Donnie Walsh said.

--C David Lee will find out Thursday whether he impressed enough coaches around the Eastern Conference to be voted onto the All-Star team. He's quietly hoping to become the first Knicks player to play in the showcase event since Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell went in 2001.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--C Jerome James (ruptured right Achilles' tendon) had surgery on Jan. 20 and is likely done for the season.
