--F Danilo Gallinari was just protecting the ball, ripping it upward as Dwyane Wade stood guard. An inadvertent elbow split the bottom lip of the All-Star. "He just stayed down, but I don't think I hit him that hard," Gallinari said. The resulting anger from Wade played a role in a decisive 19-0 run.
--G Nate Robinson got 29 points off the bench on Saturday in Miami, but he struggled after twisting his right ankle in the first half. He played after the intermission but managed just four points. "It was killing me the whole second half," Robinson said. "I couldn't run."
--F Wilson Chandler left in the first half with a cut on his left calf. It was the result of a run-in with a piece of metal on a brace Jermaine O'Neal wears on his knee. After being inspected by the officials, the brace was removed so a trainer could cover the bare metal before it was allowed back in play.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--C Eddy Curry (left knee) is day-to-day, waiting for the soreness to recede.
