New York Knicks Roster Report 2009-03-31
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Chris Duhon, shooting guard Larry Hughes, center David Lee, power forward Al Harrington, small forward Wilson Chandler. Bench -- Guard Nate Robinson, Forward Chris Wilcox, Center Jared Jeffries.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Larry Hughes landed awkwardly in the opening minutes of the second quarter, straining his right ankle. He came back, then motioned to come out after he grabbed a rebound a short time later. He got re-taped but was unable to go in the second half.

--F Jared Jeffries was vocal in the second half, but his defense on Deron Williams is what got the Knicks back after they fell behind 24 points. He's used length to slow a number of playmakers in the league this season. "He did a good job getting us going, and everybody followed his lead," Al Harrington said.

--F Al Harrington didn't help the Knicks after he got called for an illegal screen with 22 seconds to play on Monday in Utah. He protested the call and picked up a technical foul. He didn't stop and was ejected after getting personal with the officials. Harrington left with 24 points. "I asked him why did he feel that way and he called a tech," he said. "Then I lost my cool."

MEDICAL WATCH:

--Quentin Richardson (sprained left ankle) is day-to-day.
