Point guard has two remarkably intriguing players in Spain's Ricky Rubio, who seemingly has been groomed for an NBA career since his early teenage years, and Stephen Curry. Tony Parker (France) has established himself as an elite point guard but Rubio doesn't have Parker's quickness, or wife Eva Longoria, for that matter.

Curry, son of former NBA sharpshooter Del, emerged on the national seen two years ago when he shot Davidson into the NCAA Tournament Elite 8. His range begins as soon as he crosses midcourt but he has to prove he can run an NBA offense.

There's no Derrick Rose in this group, but there are a lot of players who can help.

POINT GUARD

RICKY RUBIO

6-4, 180, Spain

The European presence, not influence - was there to seen in the Eastern and Western Conference finals. Rubio is fundamentally terrific but his athletic ceiling is limited. Brandon Jennings, who went from high school to Italy, says Rubio is overrated.

STEPHEN CURRY

6-3, 181, Davidson

There's no questioning his maturity or his shooting ability, which has become more valuable as more NBA teams (see Magic) shoot the 3. Curry has added weight but the 6-3 must be in those GEOX shoes. Knicks are infatuated.

JRUE HOLLIDAY

6-4, 199, UCLA

Another NBA Draft and another Bruins guard is drawing attention. Last year it was Russell Westbrook. Holiday is just 19 and he has a shooting guard's body. Darren Collison, as was the case with Westbrook, was the primary point guard.

JONNY FLYNN

6-1, 196, Syracuse

You have to love this guy's personality. He loves to play, loves to perform and is in the new mold of point guards that can score and distribute. Don't be shocked if the Timberwolves steal him out from under the Knicks and pair him with Randy Foye.

BRANDON

JENNINGS

6-2, 165, Italy

According to some, well, according to him, he's the best point guard in this draft. Jennings might be remembered as a trailblazer, a player who chose Europe over a one-year internship in college if he excels in the NBA . Is he another Rafer Alston, and, if so, is that good?
