Since reacquiring point guard Jason Kidd on Feb. 19, 2008, the Mavericks are 41-32. ... Dallas ranks 14th in the NBA in points allowed but has given up 100 or more points six times in the past nine games. ... Owner Mark Cuban told the Dallas Morning News this week that he spoke with New York Knicks guard Stephon Marbury when the Mavericks played at New York in November.
